Arkitekt: Grape Architects AS

Dronning Eufemias Gate 8 (DEG8) was the very first building in the Barcode area in Oslo and was finished in 2007. Since then, there has been a drastic development in technology and environment, which led Braathen Eiendom to decide that the building needed an upgrade. The goal was to reduce energy consumption, increase the comfort and find better sustainable solutions. After an extensive modernization of the building, combined with all the facilities, this has become one of Oslo’s most exclusive office buildings.
Black metal ceilings by kreon ceiling solutions with integrated tenno are used in various areas of the building.
