Chromaticty diagram

The development and production of a product dedicated LED print allows us to target on a specific CCT point (2700K) on the Black Body Locus.

The use of the latest CREE EasyWhite LED eliminates chromaticity binning and enables us to deliver a consistant color and high efficiency output while reducing the LED-to-LED color variation to within a 2-step MacAdam ellipse and limited colour deviation of 40K, well within a 1/16 ANSI binning.

CCT point measured in first production batch between 2695K and 2725K.

A light source is characterised by its spectral irradiance. Kreon carefully selected CREE leds with limited power density in the blue-green region creating a warm light suitable for general lighting applications.

The specific optic with the concept of a mixing chamber creates high flexibility and allows Kreon to meet any demand for specific spectral power distribution by using CREE EasyWhite LEDs with the demanded specifications.

Kreon selected the CREE LEDs for use in combination with its standard XICATO product range. Different colour temperatures and Ra values can be ordered to meet your specific demands.
